This is an early work reflecting a brief foray into Pop Art. I love Pop Art and early Warhol. These kind of artworks are fun to do and people seem to like them too. I wanted to work a little larger than usual (at that time) and experimented with a hard surface rather than canvas. All in all this one and “Slim” turned out about like I’d envisioned them and I have been carrying them around with me for almost twenty year. I haven’t done a similar work since.
